PROJECT MANAGER - Renewables (m/f/d)

Our client is a highly successful company in photovoltaic (headquarter in Austria) and develops, realises, finances and manages globally alternative investments in the strong photovoltaic growth sector, creating a sustainable value creation. In one of the divers international locations - in this case in Bucharest / Romania the following position is available:
YOUR JOB:
    • You will be responsible for approved projects, seeing them through all stages from planning permission, RTB status and construction to connection to the national grid and commissioning.
    • You are responsible for the relationship with authorities, TSO and DSO, and consultants in all phases of the project.
    • You will manage the construction permits required for the project as a prerequisite for the start of the project and liaise with the authorities and electricity grid operators.
    • You will manage the contracts and ensure that the EPC contractor complies with all contractual obligations.
    • You will undertake site reconnaissance to review local conditions affecting design and construction and determine project specific requirements.
    • You will ensure compliance with HSEQ requirements and standards.

    YOUR COMPETENCES:
    • You have a Bachelors/Master’s degree in Engineering.
    • You are proficiency level of English and Romanian, German language is a plus.
    • You have at least 5 years of professional experience in a similar position in the solar industry, proven record of positive and increasing levels of responsibility, job complexity and management performance.
    • You contribute knowledge of multidisciplinary activities in the construction industry: Electrical, mechanical, civil, HSEQ, environmental.
    • You bring knowledge of the connection procedures to the national high and extra high voltage grid with the TSO/DSO grid operators.
    • You have experience in negotiating and managing EPC solar construction contracts.
