Our client is looking for a Delivery Manager/ Technical Support Specialist (f/m) as part of the global System Operations team, based in Root.
Responsibility for overall Service levels and Quality
Accountable for quality standards and that projects delivery is on time
Develops, modifies and supports the POS data retrieval hardware and software to provide technical support to internal users and Scanning Retail Data Suppliers
Determine the most cost effective and efficient means of retrieving scanned POS data while maintaining internal processing standards
Develop, test and install software to retrieve and process POS data and provide data to other Operations departments
Support current hardware/software systems for the Data Support Department (SRO), maintaining delivery and established quality standards for customer databases
Provide daily support to SRO and Data Quality departments to help research and resolve quality and delivery issues with POS data
Prepare technical and user documentation.
Provide user training on newly developed processes and procedures.
Minimum 3 years of relevant professional work experience
1-2 years experience in computer programming or PC/LAN support
Computer Science degree with emphasis in Computer Programming and PC/LAN/Telecommunications
Technology - can use various systems (retail POS, operating), software applications networks (Novell, Ethernet) and programming (SAS)
Good working knowledge of Microsoft suite of software
Good technology knowledge (InfoMapping, systems, networks, programming)
Strong written and oral communication skills in English ,German and French
Proactive, self-motivated and result oriented individual
Excellent people management skills with exposure
Takes personal accountability and initiative and strong problem solving skills
Ability to make day-to-day decisions and work autonomously
Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization and clients
Demonstrates ability to work within a team environment
