To support the team, we are looking for an experienced, professional person at the location in Vienna for the following position: Regional Healthcare Affairs & Access Manager (f/m/d) strategic challenge | international environment | top pharmaceutical company In this role, you will be developing and implementing innovative healthcare affairs and market access strategies for pharma products across the region (more than 20 countries). You anticipate major policy trends, access hurdles and care gaps for upcoming product launches and market development opportunities for the in-line portfolio and you are the expert leading the cross-functional approach to ensure favourable and sustainable healthcare environments through targeted collaborations with governments, payers, medical societies and patient advocacy groups.

Tasks & responsibilities in detail:

• Develop a deep understanding of key customer needs (payers, governments, regional/local payers/hospitals, HTA agencies, etc.), and healthcare trends, analyse and aggregate the results and share key insights on trends with various stakeholders
• Co-create strategic and tactical plans with sites to prepare and develop market environments and shape policies that will allow patients access to products and monitor their implementation
• Adapt global evidence and value stories to support regional sites in shaping policies and/or supporting pricing and patient access for products
• Supplement gaps, where necessary, in evidence through local evidence generation strategies (HE/OR, RWE, etc.) and additional value propositions
• Facilitate the implementation and scaling of value communication tools, value-added services and integrated healthcare solutions with key customer groups to improve patient management and address care gaps across the region
• Engage the Healthcare Affairs & Access community in your region on relevant topics, contribute actively to the global Healthcare Affairs network and Access functions

Requirements:

• Master’s degree (e.g. MBA, MSc.) in Business Administration, Health Economics, Public Health, etc. in combination with min. 3 years’ experience in Healthcare Affairs / Public Health / Market Access / Health Economics / Pricing and Contracting for pharmaceutical products
• Demonstrable track record of delivering value to patients and business. Familiar with all aspects of healthcare delivery and Patient Access in the CEE region
• Profound experience of Access, HEOR / value-based care highly desirable
• Proven ability to work in a global, fast-paced setting, analytical skills, drive for cross-functional success and ability to clearly understand the need of patients, customers, and payers as well as to collaborate on healthcare solutions with patients, payers, governments and others
• Business fluency in English is mandatory
