In order to expand their multinational team in Vienna, they are looking for a

Threat Detection Analyst (f/m/x) ViennaScope of responsibility:

• Design and write detection logics for their internal SIEM solutions
• Identify new detection models to improve the security monitoring capabilities
• Think of use cases and research for new ones by evaluating new threats
• Work on counter measurements for cyber threats
• Present ways to customers on how to remove security incidents
• Be part of a diverse team with incredible SIEM specialists

Your profile:

• First (work) experiences in IT security - the more, the better!
• You have a defensive mindset, with understanding of networking and operating systems, threat patterns and behaviours
• Experience working with the Linux command line (shell)
• You are familiar with and curious about gathering different log sources (from applications, cloud platforms, and more)
• Beneficial are first experiences with security information event management systems
• English proficiency is mandatory, both spoken and written
• Communicative personality with passion for IT security and customer service
