Our client is a fast-growing international company in the field of electric mobility, with more than 400 employees in 10 countries and a brand-new office in Vienna.
To further expand its network of modern, large-scale fast charging stations for electric cars, we are looking for a passionate Senior Architect Austria (m/f/d) who wants to actively contribute to a greener future and help build the local architecture team from the ground up.
Senior Architect (m/w/d)Your Responsibilities:- Design state-of-the-art fast charging stations across Austria, ensuring high-quality architectural concepts aligned with brand identity.
- Lead the planning, design, and permitting processes for new locations in collaboration with external engineering & architectural firms.
- Develop layout plans, site plans, and architectural drawings according to Austrian regulations.
- Conduct feasibility studies and evaluate site conditions for upcoming projects.
- Ensure compliance with local building codes, safety standards, and sustainability requirements.
- Collaborate closely with internal departments such as Construction, Real Estate, Grid, and Operations.
- Manage relationships with local authorities, municipalities, and external stakeholders.
- Contribute to the architectural vision and long-term development strategy in Austria.
- Degree in Architecture or Civil Engineering; Ziviltechniker certification is a strong advantage.
- Several years of experience in architectural design, ideally with infrastructure or commercial construction projects.
- Excellent knowledge of Austrian building regulations and permitting processes (Bauordnung, Flächenwidmung, Baubewilligung).
- Strong proficiency in CAD and architectural design tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp).
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of national architectural planning.
- Fluent in English and German (German is required for authorities and permitting).
- Hands-on, pragmatic working style with passion for sustainable mobility.
